Job Description
- Implement and oversee production of all plant varieties to meet production forecasts.
- Train and supervise tissue culture production employees for micropropagation different stages starting offshoots initiation, buds multiplication, rooting, and acclimatization.
- Implement company protocols for micropropagation and adhere to consultants’ instructions.
- Deliver daily progress to management and consultants.
- Provide high quality production to meet customers expectation.
- Follow-up on equipment maintenance schedules including laminar flow hoods, autoclaves, washing machines and all other equipment.
- Maintain a controlled hygienic environment for laboratories.
- Manage and track laboratory inventory and ordering.
Job Requirements
- Education: Masters Agriculture or Science, in Biotechnology, Plant Biology, Plant Science, botany or in a related field.
- Experience in plants tissue culture micropropagation techniques: Organogenesis and Somatic Embryogenesis - زراعة الانسجة
- Preferred experience in Date Palm and Potatoes.
- Experience in training new tissue culture technicians on all stages starting initiation, buds multiplication, media preparation, handling labware, rooting, pre- acclimatization and acclimatization.
- 5+ years related management experience in a commercial tissue culture lab (capacity 30+ employees)
