We are looking for an iOS developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with outside data sources and APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- 2+ years of iOS application development.
- Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigm under iOS, memory management, file I/O, network programming, concurrency and multi-threading.
- Experience in iOS-specific application development and publishing iOS apps in the app store.
- Good understanding of design patterns.
- Good understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions.
- Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
Skills:
- Proficient with Objective-C and Swift.
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Experience with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications, and application security.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
