Job Description
- Tailor project management processes to meet the needs of individual (new and/or ongoing) projects.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff; communicate with project teams as Necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and within cost parameters.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers as needed in regards to project deliverables including managing expectations, presenting and interfacing with sponsors.
- Make recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization and resource allocation with input from team members.
- Setting a weekly and monthly project status reports and documentation. Also provide ongoing project plan/status reporting for use by account managers, clients and management.
- Ensures accuracy around project administration and project deliverables, and timelines.
- Plans and coordinates all aspects, such as meetings, tracking, reporting, UAT of the project.
- Facilitates initial business requirements gathering and other necessary meetings with Business Analysts, Product Owners and end users.
- Resolves project issues, mitigates risks, and manages scope change requests for all development sprints.
- Drives project deliverables and decisions to completion.
- Coordinates rollout activities and leads user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate Project closure
- Ensures that the process is followed, including issuing invitations to daily scrums, sprint reviews, and sprint planning
- Facilitates the daily scrums
- Raises awareness of dependencies and blocks that are impediments to the sprint. Issues need to be prioritized and tracked. Remediation plan created and implemented for impediments in priority order.
- Coordinate technical discussion and owns technical backlog assignment to scrums
- Setting and updates the project plans and schedules.
- Monitor and pre-approve overtime
- Manage all project documentation.
- Update the PP Daily/weekly/monthly.
- Upload tasks and work packages on VSO.
Job Requirements
- S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- PMP certificate.
- Preferred knowledge in MS .NET, MVC, SQL Server, ITS, Workflow and Object Oriented is a must for this position.
- Practical Knowledge in the following :-
- Project Planning and Scheduling.
- Preparing and combining WBS for development and QC teams.
- Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development.
- Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively manage staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills.
