Job Description
- Ensure plans run to schedule and within budget.
- Accurately calculating total supply chain costs in relation to proposed project plans.
- Develop, Implement, Document, and improve physical supply chain processes, such as workflow, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flow.
- Providing accurate routing information to that delivery times and locations are coordinated.
- Set budget and information flow as required.
- Searching on the alternative suppliers within the project specs to get better price with high quality.
- Establish contracts and supervise the implementation for subcontractors as per project requirements.
- Periodically evaluate suppliers and subcontractors with respect to required standards to ensure suppliers/subcontractors database is always up to date.
- Working closely across all Supply Chain functions, especially the sales and planning teams to manage ongoing forecasts to ensure that the right stock is on the ground at the right time in the right quantities to manage a lean Pipeline, avoid wastage as well as cost and the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company’s vision and values.
- Conduct or oversee the conduct of life cycle analyses to determine the environmental impacts of products, processes, or systems.
- Defining development and training requirements for Supply chain team on annual basis.
- Achieving supply chain division KPIs and distributing KPIs to relevant team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Supply Chain Certified Diploma / Certificate is preferable
- 12-15 years’ relevant experience in supply chain including at least 7 years in the contracting/construction business.
- Strong organizing and analytical thinking;
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multifunctional environment;
- Problem solving skills through innovation and creativity;
- Solution orientated approach.
