Senior Software Quality Tester

Job Description

• The Quality Engineer is primarily responsible for individual contribution to test cases based on release content and Marketing Requirements and perform a test (manually / automated) for testing tasks under leader supervision.
• In this role, specifically, the tester will not only test new features and functionality but must also actively use every function and tool of the software solution in order to develop a deep understanding of the product and how it works.

• The incumbent has a limited level of discretion to vary from established procedures, works under general supervision, and solves some straightforward problems. Incumbent generally has limited work experience involving basic concepts and procedures but requires formal training in theories/concepts in its own function.

• The incumbent has a high level of discretion to vary from established procedures, works under broad supervision, and solves some complex problems. Incumbent generally has substantial work experience involving complex concepts and procedures in theories/concepts in their own function.
