Job Description
Technical Support
- Develop service team, improve process, monitor performance, and analyze results, set corrective actions.
- Prompt escalation to next level and field support in case of major escalation.
- Monitor, and distribute all support information in accordance with standard procedures.
- Recommend and action suggestions to ensure that those products perform reliably and efficiently.
- Take technical initiatives to prevent problems developing, and to minimize problems, which arises.
Technical Training
- Attend training courses on nominated products as required.
- Effectively design and deliver technical training courses on hardware and software products to field engineers.
- Maintain and update training records.
- Ensure that work processes and workflows exist for all Technical Support Specialist related tasks.
Technical Assistance
- Cooperate with logistics team for required spares stock.

Previous Experience, Education and Job Learning:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- High level of technical knowledge and experience (7 years minimum) coupled with the ability to relate technical information to non-technical people at all levels.
- Previous experience of delivering formal classroom training desirable.
- Fluency in written and spoken English essential.
- Professional appearance, attitude and communication style.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferable.
- Good IT background preferable.
Other Information:
- Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated and to strict deadlines. Ability to prioritize workload efficiently.
- Flexibility to deal with changing requirements and travel requirements. Carry out other duties as requested by Engineering Head.
