Job Description

Exchange Administration:

  • Architect, implement and administer multi-site Microsoft Exchange infrastructures
  • Assist in the management of Windows Servers infrastructures
  • Focus efforts on automation and optimization by utilizing scripting, monitoring, and performance metrics to develop stronger systems and processes
  • Work with various technologies including VMWare Esxi, AD, DNS, IIS, O365, SharePoint, and Azure
  • Design, plan and execute mail domain migrations
  • Day-to-day administration, maintenance, and operations
  • Other duties required of a typical Exchange administration position

Provide Technical Support:

  • From application start-up through the warranty period, Application Engineers must provide customers with ongoing technical support
  • Support includes responding to customer issues, providing updated software that solves bug issues, performing installs for customers and working with the customer service team.

Assess Customer Base:

  • Acquire and analyze customer needs and problems, making recommendations to the engineering team to satisfy needs and develop solutions
  • Generate ideas for software products that innovate and fill gaps in the current market.

General Items:

  • Research required information using available resources
  • Follow standard documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Organize ideas and communicate oral messages appropriate to listeners and situations
  • Follow up and make scheduled callbacks to customers where necessary
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.

Job Requirements

  • A very strong background in Microsoft Exchange Administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, 2016 administration role
  • Experience implementing and managing Exchange 2016
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory administration, structure, permissions, and best practices
  • Scripting experience using PowerShell (or similar language); must be willing to learn PowerShell
  • Experience administering IIS
  • Familiarity with data management, including SAN storage replication, backup and recovery, and disaster planning
  • Ability to perform under pressure; experienced in a rapid growth IT environment
  • Possesses, acquires, and maintains the technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively and to create effective customer solutions
  • Working knowledge of Managing Email Gateway services TrendMicro/Proofpoint etc.
  • Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships
  • Deals effectively with others in antagonistic situations, using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict
  • Actively appreciates and includes the diverse capabilities, insights, and ideas of others and working effectively and respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds, styles, abilities, and motivations
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; and enjoys working in a team environment
