Job Description

General Purpose

Senior professional with good knowledge of Core Network market, business and customer dynamics. Provides ideas for enhancement of Core Networks solutions, positioning of products and services portfolio in customer environment and driving consultative engagement with customers together with relevant stakeholders.

Main Responsibility Area

  • Drive and manage presales, business development and solutioning within the Nokia Software Core Presales domain. Support NSW Core Account Managers by developing and managing Core Presales business in selected countries or customers.
  • Transform opportunities into high value and high visibility deals.
  • Individual contribution to drive opportunities and manage NSW Core products and services scope together with NSW and CT Account Managers.
  • E2E solution ownership and technical design authority for NSW Core solutions/scope towards CTs and customers.
  • Understanding of customer’s business drivers, business plans and architectural solution/technology landscape for selected MU or CT(s).
  • Operate as trusted advisor to both customer and internal stakeholders. Drive near-term Core network opportunities.
  • Support campaigns to drive NSW Core products and services portfolio solutions internally and externally (customer workshops, road shows etc.)
  • Ownership of customer requirements management, solution scoping, costing and offer creation. Preparation of case summaries and business reporting.

Position Description

  • Develop and maintain understanding and insight of customer’s business and markets.
  • Follow proactively the trends/needs in own area and turn them to new business opportunities for the customer and for Nokia.
  • Plan sales initiatives within customer team and lead NSW Core opportunities.
  • Agree scope, resources and time schedule, costs, pricing and risk assessment.
  • Identify and understand customers’ technical, operational and commercial challenges and opportunities.
  • Manage quality and value by utilizing Nokia’s deep expertise, resources and intellectual capital to realize high customer value and delight.
  • Build subject matter expertise in own solution area.
  • Share and re-use knowledge in own business line and in Core Presales community.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Nokia Software Core products and Services portfolio.Proven experience in direct customer engagements.
  • Experience in solutioning, presales work and sales management for products and services.
  • Understanding and previous experience of Virtualization and Cloud technologies, including Compute, Storage and Networking components.
