Job Description

  • Manage the design & redesign processes required to complete the design of new mechanical /electrical / plumbing installations including water and sewerage installations, firefighting installations
  • HVAC systems, pumping systems.
  • Oversee and manage the work required for the installation, construction, operation and maintenance of mechanical works.
  • Install, inspect, maintain, test and certify electrical supply networks including power distribution boards panels, facilities, receptacles, lighting switches, cables/wiring, electric motors, electric pump stations and electrical appliances and equipment.
  • Manage the commissioning phase of mechanical / electrical and plumbing installations and provide the necessary certifications where required to ensure compliance with the local specifications.
  • Ensure construction works are completed to the agreed project works schedule and budget.
  • Ensure that work is constructed as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure that correct work processes are implemented to ensure work completed are as per specifications.
  • Prepares regular reports on progress and requirements for labor, materials, machinery and equipment at the construction sites.
  • Undertake Quality Control inspections of all mechanical / electrical and plumbing construction works.
  • Fully responsible for all contractual issues related to the day-to-day running of the Project.
  • Responsible for managing a Staff/Labor in the project.
  • Prepares shop, Coordination and As-built drawings in the tender sheet given by the Client/Consultant.
  • Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.
  • Perform and check quantity surveying works and materials take-off to check accuracy of quantities in the Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
  • Monitors Subcontractor & Vendors' work schedule, work quality and prepare invoices & Orders to pay.
  • Assist in the evaluation and assessment of Subcontractors, Suppliers and Materials.
  • To attend all project related meeting with Client/Engineer/Main Contractor and reporting back to the Division Manager on the proceedings as well as to attend all project related meetings
  • To receive all project related instructions from the Client, Engineer, Main Contractor, etc and transmit, communicate and arrange effective action in co-ordination with the company.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
  • Computer literate
  • With excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various.
