Job Description & Specification:

A Finance Manager distributes the financial resources of a company, is responsible for the budget planning, and supports the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company growth.

Primary responsibilities

Strategy & Business Management

  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Ensuring financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk, and maximize efficiency.
  • Securing the company's financial needs from banks and outside sources.

Business Intelligence & Controls

  • Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
  • Advice on investment activities and provide new strategies that the company should take, or change/improve existing.
  • Continuous awareness of financial regulations and legislation.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

Budgets, Forecasting, & Business Plan

  • Predicting future financial trends, and tackling them through company teams.
  • Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
  • Reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, cash flows etc, accurate and before preset periodic deadlines.
