Factory Manager - Suez

• General supervision of the day to day operations of the factory.
• Developing efficiency strategies to ensure the plant meets production goals and standards at minimal manufacturing costs.
• The plant manager works directly with other departments to coordinate purchasing, production and distribution operations.
• To manage and lead a team of Welder/Fitters including Team Leaders to manufacture, assemble and build foundation drilling tools, oil and water drilling mud systems, and water floating platforms using engineering drawings and associated design data to meet the business and customer expectations.
• Take a lead in continuous improvements to include lean and 5s procedures, ensuring a clean and compliant work area is maintained at all times.
• Ensure equipment and tooling required is available and maintained.
• Instituting policies and procedures.
• Training welders, fitters, and team leaders, and maintaining a production schedule.
• Giving performance reviews and motivating staff to meet production goals.
• Responsible for upholding a safe work environment.
• Supervise and manage all the phases of a plant operation which includes production, management, quality control, shipping etc.
• He is also majorly responsible for developing budget for the manufacturing plant projects and making sure that the budget is properly implemented and followed.
• It is the responsibility of a plant manager to minimize waste products and help in improving the overall efficiency of the plant and the entire production procedure.

Take a leading role in design for manufacturing and assembly on welding issues from concept design through detailed design and drawing sign off on welded components and assemblies.
