Job Description
- Purchase planning and developing of policies necessary for the purchase.
- Preparing the estimated budget for the procurement works.
- Studies and researches to raise the level of performance, efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process.
- Review the specifications and characteristics of the materials required by the departments and sections.
- Supervise the processing and conclusion of contracts and follow up the orders of supply until it reaches the stores.
- Register and consolidate the relationship with suppliers and contractors and searching for new suppliers and contractors to provide more than one offer
- Submit periodic reports on the performance of the department.
- Study the market conditions in terms of materials, availability, prices and quality.
- Checking and signing all incoming and outgoing documents to and from the procurement department.
- Make the appropriate decision according to quality, price and needs
- Direct supervision of the staff of the Procurement Section and the collection of periodic reports.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
- Not less than 5 year experience in the same field.
- The ability to make a decision and take responsibility
- Good knowledge of communication and information technology.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and software (SAP - Oracle).
- Proficiency in the basics of negotiation
- Good at reading, writing and speaking English.
