Job Description

  • Purchase planning and developing of policies necessary for the purchase.
  • Preparing the estimated budget for the procurement works.
  • Studies and researches to raise the level of performance, efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process.
  • Review the specifications and characteristics of the materials required by the departments and sections.
  • Supervise the processing and conclusion of contracts and follow up the orders of supply until it reaches the stores.
  • Register and consolidate the relationship with suppliers and contractors and searching for new suppliers and contractors to provide more than one offer
  • Submit periodic reports on the performance of the department.
  • Study the market conditions in terms of materials, availability, prices and quality.
  • Checking and signing all incoming and outgoing documents to and from the procurement department.
  • Make the appropriate decision according to quality, price and needs
  • Direct supervision of the staff of the Procurement Section and the collection of periodic reports.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Not less than 5 year experience in the same field.
  • The ability to make a decision and take responsibility
  • Good knowledge of communication and information technology.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and software (SAP - Oracle).
  • Proficiency in the basics of negotiation
  • Good at reading, writing and speaking English.
