Role Purpose
Chief Accountant will be responsible for Famco Egypt bookkeeping, maintain updated Trail Balance, preparing required reconciliations, follow receivables collection, obtain required confirmations, submit regular tax returns & timely reporting for Automotive and Group. At the moment he will have direct reporting responsibility to Accounting Manager – NTEG.
Key Accountabilities
Maintaining Trial balance in terms preparing the required financial entries, posting to TB, and making the required analysis/ reconciliations for each balance.
- Follow up the collection of trade receivables and returning of outstanding L/G.
- Settling the all vendor invoices, governmental dues such as social insurance & related taxes.
- Preparing & submitting all tax returns with coordination with Tax advisors.
- Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly/ Annual standard reports requested from Automotive & Group Finance
- Archive properly the files and documents related to the previous years in order to be ready for any upcoming tax inspections.
Job Requirements
- A qualified Accountant with a minimum post qualification work experience of around 10 years.
- Experience in financial Accounting and various other financial disciplines. Automotive experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication & problem solving skills are vital.
