Job Description
- Purchasing requisition receiving
- Purchase orders issuing for local and foreign material
- Handling day to day activities of the procurement department
- Follow up with vendors in aspects of deliveries, payment and quality issues if any.
- Procurement, sourcing and contracting of materials, supplies, spare parts, equipment, and services.
- Contact suppliers in order to schedule and expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other related problems.
- Process, verify, maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories.
- Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree of commerce or engineering.
- Very good in English
- Very good user of Microsoft office
- 2-5 years of experience in industrial purchasing
- Ability to operate with manual and automated systems (ERP), preferably SAP .
- Purchasing certificate or related studies is a plus.
