Job Description
Data governance is the initiative a company takes to create and enforce a set of rules and policies regarding its data. These policies cover issues such as: Assigning accountability to employees responsible for data assets.
The Data Governance Specialist will be a member of the Items Master Data Management and Data Governance team.
He will work closely with all company business unites to ensure that all data are in good quality and standardized.
- Maintain items databases and conduct routine maintenance to ensure data integrity.
- Manage data collection(Items) in a scientific method and Perform mass updates as required.
- Manage all incoming data files from requester and individual properties for each partner
- Analysis business requirements, and recommend solutions and improvements that reduce costs and improve information flow
- Demonstrated understanding of the financial (accounts numbers & Taxes)
- Leading and developing a team of data specialist
- Partners with our business units to understand their IT needs and deliver the solution
- Develop and enforce data quality
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer science or engineering
- Certificates in Big data / Oracle / Data Mining
- 3-4 Years of Experience
- Excellent command of English Language
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation skills
- Ability to work with large amounts of detailed data
- Experience with a managing master data a plus
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work in multiple systems and understand the functions of each of those systems
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a continually changing environment
