Job Description
- The Network Security Supervisor is a specialized, hands-on technical position responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, managing and improving district infrastructure security and integrity for a heavily used LAN/WAN (physical/virtual) environment as well as planning, assisting, testing and defending the network from internal and external security threats.
- Additionally, the Network Security Supervisor investigates researches and tests emerging technologies and provides leadership in developing the future use, management, and growth of complex technology systems and security. Heavy emphasis is placed on technical abilities, interpersonal skills, and systems architecture.
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 8 - 10 years of Network Security experience.
- Experienced with security technologies ( Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper) & Holds different VPN techniques & Open source is a plus & Application Delivery & Web Security & Very good English language skills & Leadership skills
- Supervise a team of Network security professionals, supporting complex and challenging security threats.
- Must have a broad understanding and knowledge of information technology areas such as networking, disaster recovery, and/or web operations.
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of cyber security domains and topics including cyber-crime techniques, tactics and procedures, computer forensics, Malware analysis, Host/Network-based intrusion detection, Network monitoring, IDS/IPS, Symmetric and Public Key Encryption.
- Able to speak to and provide technical analysis of various data log types from multiple operating systems, and origins such as Proxy, AD, Registry, and DLP.
- Experienced in conducting advanced triage/analysis for security events and triggered alerts and initiate security incident documentation for management of suspected incidents.
- Establishes processes for technology systems monitoring to provide optimal security policies and procedures.
- Industry standard cyber security certification such as CCNA, Security+, CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker is preferred.
