Job Description
- Responsible for the development of a risk-based annual audit plan in consultation with GIAM
- Schedule audits, initiates audit planning, assess risk and develops audit direction in consultation with GIAM
- Provides leadership to assigned auditors, manage audits to quality outcomes while meeting established time budget.
- Manages execution of audit assignments, reviews working papers and audit reports prepared by other auditors.
- Discuss audit findings with the assigned auditors and assist them in finalizing associated audit reports before they are submitted for comments.
- Coordinates with the assigned auditors, auditees, management on commencement and upon completion of the audit
- Share critical and significant operational and administrative issues with GIAM / Management
- Helps GIAM in the recruitment and training of new internal audit staff
- Keeps abreast of company policies and procedures, current developments in accounting and auditing professions and changes in local laws and regulations.
- Perform miscellaneous audits/investigation jobs assigned by GIAM
- Identify control weaknesses, loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost-saving suggestions thereby adding value to the company’s overall business objectives
- Responsible to provide guidance, training and an environment that supports the growth and development of other audit staff

- Knowledge of risk-based audits, auditing concepts, principles, standards, and procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with all levels within the organization.
- Logical approach to identifying and evaluating issues and problem-solving.
- Ability to work in an IT control environment with a diverse population
- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems
- Capable of working independently and with minimum supervision.
- Displays awareness of the need for confidentiality in sensitive matters.
- Demonstrated job commitment and personal flexibility to handle multiple audit assignments.
- Commitment to self-development and expansion of knowledge.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
- Certification in Audit, Finance or a closely related field.
- English Language minimum IELTS Level 7 or equivalent.
- Native Arabic speaker.
- Certified Internal Auditor
- Certified Information Systems Auditor
- Chartered Accountant, Certified Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst.
