Job Description
- First point of contact (SPOC) in all computer hardware and software problems and requests.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware and peripherals.
- Respond to queries and requests for technical assistance in person, over the phone call or email.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all technical problems related to network issues (LAN & WLAN) even over WAN.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all technical problems related to internet connections.
- Report, resolve or escalate problems and issues using central Helpdesk system according to IT SLA procedures.
- Assist remote support teams with activities related to site when it’s necessary.
- Assets Inventory Maintain up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment.
- Follow up with ISP for Network connectivity for all our sites to ensure network availability on 24/7 basis .
- Ensure effective maintenance and regular inspections of the hardware and Clean up computers.
- Ensure smooth operations by minimizing down time.
- Follow standard help desk procedures in addition to log all help desk interactions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Flexible and proactive approach to teamwork.
- Very good communication skills.
- Good learning and troubleshooting skills.
- Problem analysis and solving.
- Well planned and organized.
