System engineer / Devops engineer
- Deploy , fix and maintain application servers internally and externally at clients environments instead of the developers and apply the devops best practice
Job Requirements
Candidate Qualifications:
- Computer science Bachelor's or equivalent experience
Candidate Specification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Systems Engineering is preferred
- 3+ years’ experience on systems and environments operations
- Experience on installing and administering WebSphere and Weblogic
- Handle deployment of wars files to the application servers
- Experience supporting the processes to operate and enhance production environments by provide monitoring, management, security, containerization, and automation capabilities
- Experience with DevOps engineering
- Experience with automation using Jira ,GitHub and Jenkins
- Experience working with Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes and deployment of containerized applications
- Experience with configuration management/scripting technologies
- Experience developing in an Agile environment including software or scripting with Java, JavaScript, Python
- Strong experience on Linux and windows servers
- Effective written communication skills and the ability to effectively work as a leader, in a group, or as an individual contributor
