We are a global mobility and logistics technology platform: our flagship service allows users to request quality, on-demand rides with a touch of their smartphone and we are rapidly developing new products. We are present in over 450+ cities worldwide, including over 50+ cities in EMEA with plans to rapidly expand in the region. We have already
found strong product market fit with a world changing service, but we’re only just getting started.
What You’ll Do
- Understand the local needs for your market and determine how to tailor our strategy to win there and be able to use data to advocate for your strategy across the business
- Expansion and growth: your team will be responsible for understanding when and where we should expand to and own the execution of this. This might include into new categories or verticals
- Work cross-functionally: collaborate with the various regional and global teams to communicate product and process needs to deliver Uber Eats in your market
- Solve local problems: there are some operational challenges that are very unique to your market and it will be your job to work with the team to understand the root cause and identify and implement solutions
- Engage with local regulatory and political stakeholders within the food delivery ecosystem
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of management level experience in operations, strategy, business development or a similar area
- Master’s/MBA degree in science, engineering, economics, finance, management, social sciences, law or similar field
- Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
- Creative solutions driven mindset, with a “get things done” attitude
- Relevant experience in consumer service marketing is helpful
- Stellar networking skills and the ability to build smart partnerships
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- A passion for Uber Eats and growing the brand
