Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Global Operations landscape in the region, ensuring divisions and legal entities are correctly reflected, with the appropriate obligations, in governance tools (e.g. eCompliance, STIR);
- Maintain metrics and monitoring tools, to ensure full and clear visibility of operational status and progress against both Statutory and US GAAP processes, supporting the regional leadership operating mechanisms;
- Lead centralized data requests, such as audit fee tracking and auditor RFP requests;
- Support technical issue resolution, ensuring visibility and best practice sharing across teams and countries on common issues;
- Provide training and guidance across teams within the region, to support process consistency and execution;
- Support implementation of new technical standards with appropriate monitoring frameworks, connecting also with counterparts in other regions and within the business segments.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4-6 years of progressive finance experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills, able to adjust to varying priorities in a dynamic environment, work under pressure, prioritize tasks & to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, able to work with large volumes of data and synthesize down to key facts
- Prior experience of statutory audit process, either within GE/multi-national environment or a big 4 audit firm
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), interacting with multiple levels across the organization
