Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide analytical / commercial / Information support to FP&A & Management team, to contribute to performance reviews / operational decision making and improvement plans in meeting the company profitability & financial objectives. Support growth and strategy.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Specify the output required from the job. Identify not more than 7 Key Accountabilities & their performance indicators. NB-Focus on outcomes not tasks
- Strategic Plan, Budget and Rolling Forecasts
Responsible for the preparation of Strategic Plan, Budget and rolling forecasts
- MIS and Management reporting:
- Preparation of monthly management reports and presentation for management board.
- Reporting and analysis for brand including a strong KPI focus
- Support in performance reviews and variance analysis
- Co-ordinate and support Shared Services team in GL review and accounting related issues.
- Review manage and check incentive schemes and payments
- Working Capital and Cashflow
- Review and advise in all aspects of working capital planning by analyzing historical data and validating underlying assumptions
- Review and Monitor overdue and follow-up for corrective actions.
- Commercial Support:
- To support and advise management in capex and project evaluation and prepare feasibility reports and post implementation reviews
- Assist rents and leasing division directly with all aspects of accounting / financial analysis and policy development
- System and process Development
Advice and support various functions and business units in system and process development for new initiatives and existing process improvements.
Become a SAP super user and a key project member in the proposed implementation of SAP BW
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Degree in Accounting / MBA – Finance / Experienced Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Minimum Experience: 5 years similar experience
- Job-Specific Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, analytical, advanced systems skills in particular MS Excel and preferably in SAP, ability to manage and understand a large, complex, multi branded business, good communication skills and team player, ability to work off own initiative,
- Behavioural Competencies: able to plan & prioritise tasks; initiative; self starter; strong team player, positive can do attitude. Ability to handle multiple assignments.
