- In this project, you will participate in creating a telematic module that implements the eCall functionality (on-demand and also automatic in case of a car crash). Additionally, the module is able to flash new software to other ECU's as well as its own over a GSM network and can also remotely provide car's diagnostic data. These features allow to remotely diagnose issues and fix them without the need for a service recall.
- From a technical point of view, the Telematic Control Unit (TCU) consists of two microcontrollers. An ARM multicore running Linux is acting as the application processor and managing the over the air connection to the back-end of the OEM. A second gateway microcontroller is managing the connection to the car and the car networks (Ethernet, LIN) the TCU is connected to. Project utilities AUTOSAR EB stack, seamless update procedure, and other state-of-the-art compliant modern technologies.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing the requirements of the solution
- Design and development of software in the area of automotive using C language
- Creative approach to work to invent new solutions
- Close cooperation with PM, designers, and analysts
- Assuring code quality
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Embedded Developer
- Good knowledge of embedded C programming language (C++ nice to have)
- Good knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic on various layers - MCAL/ Services Layer/ ECU Abstraction Layer/ CDD/ RTE
- Good knowledge of automotive communication protocols - CAN/LIN/ Ethernet/ FlexRay, etc.
- Good knowledge of automotive diagnostics - UDS, DoIP, etc.
- Good knowledge of functional safety topics
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR configuration tools like EB Tresos/DaVinci Configurator/ DaVinci Developer
- Experience in configuration and integration of various AUTOSAR stacks (Vector, EB)
- Experience in debugging of low level embedded projects
- Experience in working with automotive microcontrollers e.g RH850, NXP MPC55xx, etc. and various compilers - Greenhills, WindRiver, etc.
- Good language skills (English)
- Teamwork attitude
