Job Description
- Risk and Operations Manager determines risk strategy, that support the corporate strategy of the institution.
- Ensures the implementation of FAWRY Microfinance risk strategy.
- Ensures efficient and well-organized operations and IT functions.
- Ensures ongoing changes to the strategy and Business Plan, as required by the operating environment in Egypt and FAWRY Microfinance’s development strategy.
- Ensures that the company's organizational structure and capability are appropriate for implementing the strategy.
- Ensures staff are on board throughout the organization, understand the business strategy and what is required to ensure it.
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Former successful manager with 3-5 years’ experience as senior risk manager in microfinance or related fields. Experience in operations and IT field are plus.
- Detailed knowledge of the market and capacity to monitor market dynamics in microfinance and related fields.
- Highly organized, self-starter with the ability to manage projects with limited oversight.
- Strong leadership, management, supervision, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Strong strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to make effective decisions by analysing information and considering priorities.
- Result driven and result oriented.
