Job Description

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and strategy of the localization team
  • Get involved in hands-on work of PMs and Productions team (DTP, LE, Translation) to clearly understand the processes, identify inefficiencies and create plans for improvements
  • Manage and drive developments, implementations and maintenance of PM Process to improve localization processes
  • Maintain a tracking system for recording metrics to ensure and prove that the performance of our services consistently meets the expectations of the client
  • Plan, deliver, sustain and continuously improve integrated processes to enable business scalability.
  • Be a key contact to Sales team and Project Managers team to deliver projects according to deadlines and clients’ specifications;
  • Manages translation and localization projects workflow with projects management team and Vendors management
  • Assigns, monitors and measures project team members’ work, motivates and inspires team
  • Drives development, implementation and maintenance of PM procedures
  • Monitors and achieve profitability for the department
  • Manage, track and coach regularly vendor managers. Cultivates strong relationships with vendors. Assumes responsibility for quality of delivered work;
  • Performs other special, complicated projects or duties when required.
  • Hiring, Training and well educating new Projects managers to be well oriented to industry and business.
  • Reorganize workload if needed to ensure 100% efficiency
  • Work with management and cross-functional partners to identify performance gaps, to prioritize and capture opportunities and to develop and execute process improvement plans.
  • Define success metrics and deliver quarterly and monthly reports
  • Identify business opportunities within the client’s organization
  • Be in charge of the growth of different accounts
  • Build strong relationship with customers and ensure their satisfaction
  • Manage part of the localization team. You will understand their strengths and weaknesses, help them to overcome any obstacles, to grow and develop their skills. This will be your most important part of the job.

Job Requirements

  • Have a passion for new technologies and a solid understanding of the most common tools used in the industry such as various TMs, MTs CAT tools and etc.
  • High Emotional Intelligence - clearly understand what it means to be good leader and are able implement best practices to make the best out of your team.
  • Have about 8-10 years of work experience, preferable related to localization Industry.
  • Have great personal skills and ability to create strong relationships with customers and Team.
  • Strategic Leader, able to recognize opportunities with long term benefits.
  • Able to foresee potential problems ahead of time. You figure out problems that rarely have textbook solutions. Let me figure this out is a sentence you use often.
  • Pay attention to details and can’t stand sloppy work.
  • Focus on solutions and improvements rather than finding excuses why something doesn’t work.
