Job Description

Job summary :

Tendering and Commercial Manager will be responsible and expected to manage the entire bid process, generate complex proposals while maintaining the highest quality and commercially competitive offers as well as managing the procurement process of the successful bids.

  • Leading the contract review, recommending modifications while involving legal and negotiating it with the customer along with sales, maximizing the profit.
  • Coordinating with sales for the upcoming opportunities / sales funnel to align the preparation for the LoA observing the bid submission timeline.
  • Study tenders to understand the nature of projects and contracts for overseas clients
  • Prepare / review BOQ, drawings and specifications for the new Projects.
  • Lead the bid overview meetings with sales managers, technical consultants & operations to set the bid strategy and preparation guidelines.
  • Generate the financial proposals and manage the preparation of the technical proposal
  • Make sure that the quotations comply with the c required and provided Specifications
  • Manage all suppliers and partner’s agreements renewals and contracts and receive quotations from them .
  • Pricing and contracts negotiations to ensure competitiveness and commercial advantage.
  • Prepare comparison Sheet for rates quoted by Sub Contractors and suppliers
  • Breakdown BOQ items .
  • Perform quantity take off for lump sum project or items .
  • Finalizing the Commercial and technical Offer including priced BOQ in compliance with the appropriate engineering standards, codes, specifications, design instructions, etc. job requirements

Job Requirements

  • BS of Fine or Applied Arts or Architectural Engineering or equivalent .
  • 10-12 years’ experience in bid management, sales support and procurement (Office furniture field preferably).
  • Fluent in English/Arabic, written & Spoken.
  • Experienced in MS Excel.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of business best practices.
  • Teamwork and management skills.
