Job Description
- Design effective budget models for departments and the entire company
- Analyze financial information (e.g. Cost Centers, expenditures and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget
- Present annual budgets to senior managers
- Review budget requests for approval
- Forecast future budget needs
- Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reporting period
- Suggest spending improvements that increase profits
- Review the company’s budget for compliance with legal regulations
- Ensure department managers meet budget submission deadlines
- Design and implement effective budgeting policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- BA in Accounting, IFRS and Egyptian accounting standard knowledge is preferable.
- CMA or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Budgeting
- Industrial/FMCG background is preferred
- Excellent computer skills on MS Office.
- ERP Oracle knowledge is an advantage.
- A well organized, disciplined, detail-oriented, persistent and persuasive individual with the ability to identify/focus on key issues, prioritize efforts and ensure follow up with timely / quality results.
