Job Description
- Research and identify publisher websites for link building opportunities.
- Vetting websites for content placement
- Conceptualize topics (Topic ideation) for guest blog posts and content assets.
- Engage with forums and community with relevant content
- Monitor brand/keywords mentions on Q&A websites and engage with the right content
- Write and send customized, professional outreach communication to publishers.
- Communicate your progress with internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated and informed with link building trends and Google algorithm changes
- Monitor and evaluate backlinks and update existing disavow file using Search Console and other SEO software.
- Plan and define backlinking strategy and conduct outreach appropriate for each individual client.
- Investigate and implement new backlinking tactics including online directories, blog outreach, content syndication, and reputation management among others.
- Ability to organize and analyze data with Excel/Google Spreadsheets.
- Prospecting for hundreds of link opportunities weekly
- Ability to meet deadlines...no excuses
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in practical SEO
- Strong online research skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong negotiation skills
- Strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills
- Work in a unique, collaborative environment where ideas are shared freely and individuals are empowered to affect change.
- Google analytics experience is a must
- Moz or Ahref or Majestic SEO experience is a must
