Job Description
- Comply with all HSE rules and instructions.
- Stop the production processes if there is any unsafe condition according to golden rules of HSE.
- Implement production plan set by planning department according to OTIF principle.
- Ensure that the machines work at optimal level in terms of productivity and efficiency.
- Continuous update for S.O.P and WIs (work instructions)of all machines and production processes.
- Professional Trouble shooting for any problem may appear in production activities to achieve max quality and productivity.
- Work to eliminate customers’ complaints through ensuring production process consistency and packing process also.
- Coordinate with maintenance team to fulfill the preventive maintenance plan and continuous upgrading of the machines to return it to the original status.
- Work to Continuous improving through participating in improvement projects with coordination with teams in other departments.
- Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality, efficiency, reliability and waste reduction. (Lean manufacturing, Six sigma, 5S and Kaizen).
- Prepare periodical KPI reports to the concerned people and then put a corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
- Eliminate any kind of losses(material, time, slow running) through optimal usage of all resources.
- Put a succession plan to production team through updating continuously operators’ skill matrix.
- Try continuously to increase engagement spirit between his team and the company through putting a reward and motivating system.
- Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering / Industrial chemistry / Paint technology.
- English Language (very good).
- Certified for lean green belt is highly preferable.
Experience
- Experience from 3 to 5 years in paints production.
Technical Skills
- Trouble shooting.
- Knowledge in Machine (HSD’s & Filling M/C’s) handling & operations
- Knowledge in Lean-6 sigma manufacturing, 5S is preferable.
- MS office skills.
