Garment Sourcing & Development Specialist - Sharqia

The Garment Sourcing and Development Specialist is an important function and role for the whole garment development process. It is critical to be fast in order not to loose valuable time for later production. The customer defines the quality and specifications of needed production inputs (such as yarn, fabrics, and accessories). The Garment Sourcing and Development Specialist gets Extra Orders from the merchandiser to get samples, lap dips and swatches in order to approve the quality with the customer. This process needs swift follow up and fast communication.

General Purpose:

• Fast and effective sourcing of fabrics and accessories for organic garment development

Account-abilities:

• Building and maintaining network to yarn, fabric and accessories suppliers for organic textiles
• Delivering on time for requested extra orders from merchandisers for yarn, fabrics or accessories in defined quality
• Finding solutions for quality issues in relation to extra orders from merchandiser
• Being highly commutative and responsive together with team members and merchandisers
• Being creative and bringing in new ideas to make customers happy
