Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Provide advanced coordination and presentation of department communications, research and daily interactions with government representatives.
- Research, monitor, analyse, and evaluate legislation and regulation issues that may have an impact on CFC to determine needs for action and recommend action to be taken.
- Draft proposals and legislation that accurately reflect the interests of CFC.
- Develop and implement a communication program to keep CFC's management informed on governmental issues affecting CFC at all levels.
- Maintain formal, collaborative relations between CFC's Office of Government Relations and all governmental entities to ensure coordinated approach on government relations at all levels.
- Serve as principle liaison for AFGRE with Governmental entities and representatives (this includes representing AFGRE at relevant meetings, briefings, and events) and in some cases, arrange and lead such activities.
- Make sure all necessary approvals are received, and that all responsible entities have been informed about the event.
- Be on site In case of VIP guests or Governmental representatives attending the event.
- Coordinate with the Relative department/sector at the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for security issues that may arise.
- Coordinate with the relative departments at CFC (Security & Traffic as well as HSE).
Job Requirements
About You
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Possesses strong leadership, good communication skills, and has the experience working in governmental relations.
- Understands the laws.
- Good negotiation & presentation skills
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Government Relations and Administration.
- Preferable if within the Real Estate Development sector.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Crisis Management and ability to resolve issues quickly, professionally, and with highest possible efficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if situation demands.
- Advanced Negotiation Skills, Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills, Time Management.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
- Must be well familiar with computer applications and capable of generating & presenting required reports
