Job Description
- We are currently seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our team . Our company (Ark Development - Arkdev) is one of the most stable and mature software development companies in the middle east. We have more than 12 years of experience delivering software solutions worldwide with a focus on USA, Europe and KSA markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain highly optimized and customized WordPress/Drupal websites, themes, plugins, and web applications.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate with 3rd.
- Integrate with Salesforce and built custom API calls.
- Following the standards and naming conventions.
- Design and implementation of database solutions.
- Building reusable code and libraries with meaningful comments for future use.
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Publishing versions of the web application to the test and production environments.
- Handle all exceptions and bugs generated by the testing team.
Job Requirements
- Proficient spoken/written English.
- Proficient in Native PHP.
- Proficient in PHP Object Oriented design patterns and programming.
- Strong fluency with Composer for dependency management.
- Highly experienced in WordPress/Drupal themes and plugins development.
- Experience in MySQL/SQL.
- Experience with source control systems, such as Git, Bitbucket.
- Experience with Linux is an asset.
- Good Knowledge in HTML, JS, CSS and Bootstrap.
- Good Knowledge in jQuery and Ajax.
- Good in continuous integration and auto deployment, Codeship/Jenkins is a plus.
