Job Description
Solar installation engineer will be responsible for preparing, managing and installing solar PV power plants ranging from small (5-30 kW) to large (1-25 MW) stations spread across Egypt with responsibilities that involve:
- Leading the Installation team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources
- Oversee the purchasing of technical goods and services
- Project pricing and value engineering exercises
- Track daily activities related to scheduling, delivery, installation, service and repair activities
- Establishing excellent working and professional relationships with other employees, clients and their representatives.
- Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Renewable Energy, Power or equivalent technical field
- Proficiency with common CAD tools such as AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Basic knowledge of estimating, engineering, cost tracking systems and site surveying
- Must be open to travel and having a car is a PLUS
