Job Description
Headquarters Tokyo and Chennai
- Support operational planning per year based on market for quantitative and qualitative aspects
- Monthly sales planning and reporting by volume and pricing target
- Monthly order volume alignment with regards to actuals and forecasts against OP/EA target
- Market analysis including fleet deals and lost sales
- Determination and Monitoring of product program in the markets of responsibility
- Support price positioning on fleet deals with proper approval process
- Support accurate entering of agreed pricing conditions to ensure on time deliveries
- Co-ordination with Treasury department to ensure on time payments by L/C if applicable
- Coordination of logistics with relevant department in Daimler HQ
- Support development of marketing plans per market together with the Marketing department with the follow-up and implementation
NV Sales Target Management Central Africa:
- Support the realization of the target for NV sales & Ensure achievement
- Support co-ordination of NV sales process and positioning for responsible market
- Support coaching and qualification of sales personnel
- Support and direction to responsible General distributor in day-to-day business
- Co-ordinate customer approaches in fleet business
- Support definition of NV sales targets quantitative and qualitative)
Market Management Central Africa:
- Co-ordinate customer approaches in fleet business
- Support finalization of Warranty terms in responsible markets
- Maintain awareness of Market Scenario and competition landscape in responsible markets.
- Support strengthen brand image through marketing events and customer visits
- Support Product Manager for coordination of vehicle specifications, per market
- Support & Co-ordination with the Customer Service department in regards to customer satisfaction and General Distributor performance
Compliance and Integrity:
- Ensure a sustainable Environment of Compliance and Integrity in area of responsibility
- Determine applicability, Initiate & Coordinate compliance approvals
- Conduct regular CAS Checks for all known customers, business delegations and participants
- Safeguard compliance measures implemented
Delegation & Support:
- Execute delegated authority for Managers, when required
- Represent as deputy for Managers, when required
Personal development
- Regular training on leading people for preparation/development to the next level
- Regular product information updates
- Regular training and updates on compliance issues
- Personal development training in regards to management qualifications
- Regular training on sales tools and internal processes
Others:
- Investigation into used truck market potentials by market
- Co-ordination with bodybuilders in regards to sales potentials/tenders
- Co-ordination of Aftersales activities with Daimler Africa
- Support development of a market specific Commercial Vehicles Strategy in relation to the overall Africa strategy
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Business/Engineering or equivalent qualification
Knowledge/Skill/Experience
- 1-2 years of work Experience from automotive, commercial vehicles, Autoparts or Other Industry preferably in Middle East and North Africa region
- Good negotiating and communication skills
- Customer focused and familiar in working with partners (internal and external)
- Cultural knowledge of the Middle East Region
- English as a must. French or Arabic preferred
