About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager for Al Futtaim Aftersales Services who will ensure that the service centre has a team of motivated performing individuals who follow the procedures and processes of the company to achieve budgeted targets provided for the location and ensures that customers receive consistent, timely and excellent customer service that becomes a competitive business strategy in retaining customers.

Among your key responsibilities as are as follow:

  • Ensure that the service centre achieves the budgeted net sales, gross margin and net contribution which results towards the company’s overall budget achievement
  • Plans and ensures optimal use of facilities available at the service centre for running the business operations.
  • Do monitor, mentor and develop his team members to achieve high level of team performance that creates desired level of customer satisfaction and achievement of the service centre business objectives
  • Analyse the service orders made on a daily basis to ensure that the standards set as per company policies are followed by the reception team members in recording the service and repair details.
  • Ensures that the service initiation process is followed effectively in bringing in the customers due for service and monitors the control of service appointments provided
  • Ensures that the technical problems witnessed during vehicle repair is documented and reported to the Technical Support Manager for further reporting to the principals.
  • Monitors the service advisor performance in terms of satisfaction rating obtained in survey and then mentors and identifies training needs for service advisors with regards to improving customer handling skills.

Job Requirements

About You:

To be successful for the role of Bodyshop Manager, you must have the following qualification, skills and experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Automobile /Mechanical Engineering and Business Management specialization.
  • 10 years overall experience with automobile dealership, out of which a minimum 5 years in Service Department at managerial role.
  • Automotive dealer / distributor business processes, working knowledge of MS office, ERP skills, KPI driven customer focused operation, leadership
  • Maintain confidentiality, be strategic and analytical, honest and responsible, cultural sensitive and sound work ethics.
