Job Description
- Use various statistical techniques and algorithms to extract knowledge and insights from structured and unstructured data
- Translates model output into meaningful business insight
- Develops robust analytical models to address complex business problems and drive innovation
- Conducts advanced statistical analysis to provide actionable insights, identify trends,
- and measure performance
- Implements data solutions, through basic visualization tools
- Provides thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments, and collaborating with business leaders
Job Requirements
- MS/PhD in computer science, statistics, or operations research or related technical discipline (eg. math)
- Expert in working with large data sets, simulation/ optimization and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, etc.)
- 7+ years’ experience in a statistical and/or data science role, with deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics and optimization
- Considerable experience with a wide range of tools including SparkML, H2O, FlinkML, TensorFlow, etc.
- Experience in working with basic visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik, etc.
