Job Description
- Enables cross-functional teams to develop medium-to-complex business / customer/ employee solutions using the Agile way of working that integrates the business and technical needs
- Servant leader ensuring that the team is high performing and facilitates agile ceremonies and removal of impediments
- Supports the team and the Product Owner and helps them to communicate, solve problems and deliver a great product
- Scrum Masters are personal coaches for team members and innovators who constantly seek ways to develop herself/himself and the team
- Guide the team and organization on how to use scrum & agile practices and methodologies
- Oversee scrum process and coach the team
- Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement
- Support Product Owner on release planning
- Remove impediments (eg., cultural barriers, logistic challenges)
- Facilitate communication and collaboration inside and outside the team
- Shield the team from external interference and ensure the team is fully functional and productive
Job Requirements
- At least 1 successfully delivered project using Scum methodology in the role as Scrum Master
- At least 3 successfully delivered technical projects with experience in software development and/or project management
- Experience in Agile Development, with specific Scrum Master (or similar) experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts
- Assertive, with the confidence to be voice of authority – not afraid to do what is best for the team
- Knowledge of Agile software development process (e.g. XP, Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
