Job Description
We are looking for an android developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Design, build, test, and deploy Android applications working throughout the entire lifecycle of the app from idea to delivery.
- Gather and understand requirements, and translate them into efficient solutions.
- Participate in project plan, timelines estimations and technical documentations.
- Maintain a good standard of coding and adhere to the same conventions as the rest of the team.
- Translate business requirements and wireframes into high quality code.
- Collaborate with UX/UI Designers
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate with outside data sources and APIs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ability to perform effectively to tight deadlines, work well both independently and as part of a team.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- 3+ years’ experience with Developing Native android applications.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of android, dealing with different screen sizes, UI design patterns and best practices.
- Kotlin knowledge is a plus.
- You must have a proven records of android applications available on the store.
- Solid Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Understanding of common Design Patterns like MVP and MVVM.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of multi-threaded programming and synchronization.
- Experience in Git source control.
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
