Job Description
We are looking for an experienced individual who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the processes for evaluating overall quality of services and end products delivered to the customer
Responsibilities
- Participation in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, documentation, design, implementation, product builds, testing, and field support
- Work with project teams to understand system requirements and solution designs, then translate into System Test Cases and document for review and execution.
- Create a detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements
- Perform testing using a variety of test methodologies, including manual, exploratory, and automated testing
- Testing web services and APIS
- Provide support and documentation
- Writing clear and concise bug reports and scenarios to ensure clear communication with the software developer
- Reporting overall project status and generating statistics
- Supporting the team with testing tasks as required
- Work closely with other testers, developers and end users throughout the software life cycle to ensure that applications meet the needs of the users
- Makes recommendations, if needed, for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, test strategies, and the business domain.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 3+ Years of experience in the testing field
- Good analyzing skills for business requirements
- Documentation writing skills.
- Experience with testing native mobile applications and web applications.
- Excellent knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
- Experience with writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management and bug tracking tools.
- Experience with testing tools for Android and iOS.
- Familiarity with software code management tools including GitHub
- Experience with Test Case Management tools (i.e., qTest, TestTrack, TestRail, PractiTest, Zephyr, Quality Center, Silk, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
