Job Description

A Warehouse supervisor maintains a smooth operation of the warehouse. Responsible for the day-to-day management of
people within the warehouse function, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements.
Ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Responsible for housekeeping standards
and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

Operation planning

  • On D-minus 1 basis coordinate with the Brand manager and updating him about the staff requirement.
  • Inform the brand manager about excess staff in case of less work.
  • Allot the right staff at the right task to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the end to end Warehouse (Inbound and Outbound) Operations
  • Coordinate with warehouse team and ensure all customer deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with the different function within the operation and ensure relevant support in terms of manpower and other facilities are provide to get the work done.
  • Bridge the gap between the client requirement and the activities on the
    warehouse.

Health and Safety

  • Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and
    Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
  • Sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues
  • Oversee any planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
  • Ensure security of Warehouse environment and maintain access control.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
  • Report any incident or disciplinary issues to the warehouse manager.

Inventory management

  • Manage the inventory as per the agreed guidelines.
  • Get approval from the clients for exceptions before approving changes to the stock.
  • Approve modifications as per the agreed SOPs.

Collaboration with other department

  • Raise and follow up issued reported to the IT team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assist the Warehouse manager with the information required to propose for system improvements.

Relation

  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with those in the
    team, as well as cross-functionally.

Customer relationship

  • Drive the SLA requirement on the floor and achieve required numbers.
  • Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to inline with the Company’s procedures and requirements

  • Lead follow up and resolve Customer concerns

  • Issue manual gate pass to transfer goods or consumables to other locations (If applicable).

Warehouse management

  • Monitor and review operational methods to facilitate both qualitative and quantitative improvements within the operation whilst ensuring continuous
    customer service

  • Feedback information to the brand manager to plan storage for fast moving
    articles, slow moving articles, plus damage goods

  • Manage physical condition of warehouse by planning and strategically storing
    things to ensure maximum productivity space utilization.

  • Prepare local, export documentations, and pass bill of entries.

  • Ensure all documentation required for the smooth operations is managed on a
    timely basis.

  • Ensure documentation is done with zero error and in lines with the agreed SOP.

Coaching

  • Monitor performance of the team and coach on best practices on a regular basis.
  • Communicate information from the management to the warehouse staff.
  • Conduct briefings and communicate process updates to the warehouse staff.
  • Nominate staffs for required trainings.

Human Resources

  • Coordinate with the hired company to arrange for the transport in
    case of shift change.

Job Requirements

  • 3 Years’ experience in the same industry
  • Diploma in commerce or equivalent study
  • Planning and organizing skills

  • Meet deadline
