Job Description
Strategic planning
-
Assist the GeneralManager with the required information to set KPIs
and SLA for the business.
Quarterly review the performance and propose to the Management
solution / improvements to increase the productivity and efficiency of
the team - With forecasts dashboards, devise season wise short term daily resource planning; based on known capacity for respective brands activity, working closely with Team and General Manager
Operation planning
-
Day -1 planning- resource planning and
arranging for extra hired staff ifrequired. -
Complete warehouse operational requirements by prioritizing work and assigning teams accordingly to different functions.

Assess daily productivity / activity KPIs for
respective brands/ activities, with the use of
dashboards
Documentation coordination
- Coordinate with the warehouse supervisor and ensure all agreed operational movements (Inbound & Outbound) has the relevant documentation prepared on time.
- Work closely with the warehouse supervisor to plan the operational activities.
Inventory management
-
Manage the inventory as per the agreed
guidelines. -
Get approval from the clients for exceptions before approving changes to the stock.

Approve modifications as per the agreed SOPs.

Plan for cycle counts with the existing staff
by utilizing them during the quiet time and ensure the agreed SLA is met. -
Manage the inventory and help them team with the plan for cycle count.

Ensuring staffs investigate & validate discrepancies, while ensuring bins to be counted in set timelines.
Collaboration with other department
- Raise and follow up issued reported to the IT team on a day-to-day basis.
- Assist the General Manager with the information required to propose for system improvements.
Health and safety
- Work closely with the team in order to maintain health and safety standards in the facility.
- Assist the team in implementation of new process in line with the guidelines
Customer relationship

Maintain good relation with clients and ensure best in class service

Liaise with the internal customer for any operational support required.
KPI
-
Monitor team’s KPIs and ensure all agreed terms are met.

Help the management with feedback to define and update KPIs time to time with the change in business.
- Adhere to the respective brand SLA and ensure it is achieve.

Provide justification for any deviation in the SLA to the management
Warehouse management
- Oversee the day-to-dayproductivity of team.
- Manage Receiving, Binning and Delivery operations on day minus one basis by coordinating with the Customer and the Warehouse Supervisor
- Follow up on the pending status of the daily tasks carried out on the previous day
- Overseeing all the inventory transactions which is conducted by the team
- Manage the inventory management within set contractual parameters, with regards to system & physical nil picks
- Identify the Dead stock (if any) and bring it to the attention of the management
- Report excess/shortage/damage goods received, to the clients and update the systems as per the agreed SOP. Best practice
- Ensure that the operation of the warehouse is complies with the best practices and SOPs that include but not limited to: inbound, scan to & putaway, pick & pack & outbound. Plan storage
- Actively seek and plan storage for fast&slow moving articles, plus damage goods
- Manage physical condition of warehouse by planning and strategically storing things to ensure maximum productivity & space utilization.&
Job Requirements
- 5 Years’ experience in the same industry
- Bachelor degree in commerce or equivalent study
