  • Under broad direction, approves credit accommodations with limits up to $400,000 with a monitored level of risk or difficulty.
  • Facilitates regular review and collection of current and previously charged-off accounts, including monitoring of ongoing lawsuits and related activity.
  • Responsible for limited risk assessment and risk management.
  • Possesses intermediate knowledge of credit and collection laws and statutes including working knowledge of courthouse records in area of responsibility.
  • Researches and obtains legal property descriptions and prioritizes chain of title related to Halliburton's legal position.
  • Maintains and establishes customer relationships that facilitates collections.
  • Gathers current financial information for use in risk management and financial management while encouraging the use of Halliburton services and supplies.
  • Some exposure to lien processes and exposure to security processes as appropriate.
  • Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley and basic requirements to support same.
  • Limited credit risk management skills including financial analysis and overall ability to balance risk factors for a comprehensive evaluation.
  • Reviews portfolio of more junior staff.
  • Responsible for lien and security processes as appropriate.
  • Responsible for coaching personnel and career development.

Job Requirements

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 6 years of experience in both commercial credit and collections and financial statement analysis.
  • Commercial credit and collections training.
  • Financial statement analysis abilities required.
  • Technical competencies include good negotiation skills and the ability to operate the technological tools as it relates to areas of accountability, including Microsoft software suite and on-line collection software.
  • Interpersonal competencies include ability to create and cultivate relationships, ability to work in a team environment, ability to supervise personnel, ability to make quick decisions, and ability to effectively communicate / work with internal and external customers.
