Job Description
Conceptualization:
- Analyze data to identify target audience’s needs.
- Review school manuals and best practices to integrate and align with audience needs where applicable
- Review EM TOC to ensure alignment of product with main impact objective of Educate Me
- Conduct and submit research briefs and analysis based on request on learners and contexts.
- Ideation for the initial idea and preparing concept note
Content Development:
- State instructional and learning end goals and create content that matches them.
- Transform knowledge into activities and learning experiences.
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods in designing content.
- Create or Use supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
- Documentation and proof reading for all training package and embedded learning interventions according to Training Package Guidelines (Manuals, presentations, pre-posttest, readings, follow up forms and references).
- Adopt new technology integration within content design and delivery framework.
- Set the competencies needed to select who delivers the content.
- Compliance of product according to Kanban phases and product committee progress
- Submit every intervention (TOT and follow up) documents and reports.
- Review and update modules and content based on first hand field observations and data analysis.
Design Assessment and Evaluation Tools:
- Set the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and to select the best practices.
- Design impact measurement tools to assess the product objectives set
- Run feedback sessions and design tools to monitor the progress of the knowledge transferring and the learner’s performance updating.
- Ensure alignment of measurement tools with systems used for data collection
- Attend to at least 2 public school field visits and 2 Educate Me school field visits per year for field observation and applicability of product on ground.
Deliver TOT:
- Design TOT regarding the Training & Development Specialists needs according to TOT guideline for both formal training's, embedded learning and any updates with regards to the products
- Deliver TOT to Training & Development Specialists on design content.
Products Quality Checking and Innovation:
- Create EM standards check list.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure the quality checks.
- Aid in staying competitive with other Educational organizations throughout Research and analyzing the products of them, as well as the new trends within EM scope.
- Submit researches to direct the future of the organization based on the information founded and products discovered.
Organizational Commitments:
- Attend to weekly team meetings, monthly staff meetings, annual team retreat and team bonding days.
- Ensure all data & documents are uploaded on EM Drive in a timely manner
- Attend to departmental/organizational reporting.
Internal Reporting & Internal Communication
- Filling and Submitting needed direct reports.
- Attending Follow up with Direct Manager.
- Attending Monthly Staff Meeting and Team frequent gathering.
Job Requirements
- Education: BS or MA degree in Education or similar.
- Specialized knowledge: Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
- Skills: Great Communication knowledge, analytical skills, public speaking skills, negotiation skills,
