Job Description
- Responsible for the maintenance of Vehicles, Trucks, Jumbos and Forklifts and following up with the external maintenance centers insuring their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for management of a company’s vehicles fleet. Including range of functions, such as vehicle financing, maintenance, driver's management in connection with distribution and supply chain plans.
- Ensures that the drivers make the necessary car maintenance effectively and in a timely manner.
- Ensures the optimal transportation plan to ensure the highest customer service levels and the lowest operational costs, using routing tools and/or software effectively
- Optimal design, utilization and scheduling of trucks to satisfy the supply chain and distribution plans with highest customer service levels and the lowest operational costs.
- Ensures the implementation of Safety policies and procedures and increase the driver's awareness in order to reduce accidents and losses.
- Responsible for collect and analyze data and information .Creating and submitting the requested reports(Daily, Monthly, Yearly) to your direct manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering.
- 7–10 years' experience in manufacturing industry (preferable)
- Knowledge of operating forklifts gives an edge.
- Very Good written and spoken English and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Advanced Computer Skills.
