Job Description
Product Sampling
- Understanding existing and new product elements, and design requirements from Design Team
- Researching, selecting and trying out different patterns production with suppliers to create product sample
- Follow up on suppliers intensely to produce sample
- Submit to Product Manager for approval
- Create a reliable database of and strong relationship with reliable suppliers
Product Production:
- Collects quantities required for production for every product
- Follow up on production in a timely manner as per need for delivery, event, booth or bazar
- Reviews quality of all produced quantities and return back any products that are not as per agreed upon quality
- Ensure quality matches sample given to supplier and approved by product manager
- Manage Business development orders production from A-Z (brief of product, quantity, design, deadline)
- Responsible for managing production budget and approving all purchase orders
- Make sure suppliers are legally viable and all legal issues are dealt with e.g Contract with supplier, tax receipt etc.
- Ensure that process with suppliers is tracked and that there is a written agreement on every detail
- Ensure that the production is cost effective
- Collaborate, communicate and finalize with B2B deal representatives and internal management to understand objectives and requirements
Retail Operations Management:
- Responsible for coordinating with Sales People products and logistical needs for the booth display
- Attend and give operations induction to newly hired sales team and sales management system
- Responsible for inventory management and keeping pre and during the event and the display
Inventory Management:
- Responsible for storing all produced products in the storage
- Responsible for managing the inventory system log in
- Responsible for coding the products
- Responsible for documenting the products out of inventory; accurately recording the quality, quantity, type, style, and any other characteristics of the inventory
- Plan purchases and inventory supply as per inventory and production needs
- Oversee warehouse efficiency
Job Requirements
- Education: BSc in Management or relevant field with a major in Operations is preferable
- Specialized knowledge: Inventory Management and production is a plus
