Job Description
- Conceptualize and implement visual merchandising strategies in the store’s departments by planning the complete customer’s trip into the store.
- Arrange on fortnight bases the linked selling and stack displays, through creative displaying ideas which reflect positively on the sales figures.
- Developing floor plans and sketching designs; build up the layout of each department in a manner that encourages more detailed sales transactions by generating more customer interest in the floor walk.
- Constantly (usually every alternative month) workout different displaying modules of the store departments’ layout for the purpose of refreshing the store look.
- Giving positive timely feedback in order to plan out promotional proposals and marketing gimmicks (in coordination with Merchandising Controller and Store Manager) to attract new customers and generate more revenue.
- Ensure that the environment within the store is welcoming, warm and ambient and easy for shopping experience (no difficulties of picking up merchandise).
- Interact with customers to get a proper info about changes that need to be made in the presentation of merchandise to fulfill the store customer’s profile.
- Manage the inventory flow in the retail floor and decide the proper stock level need to be displayed and merchandised at one particular place.
- Practicing and reporting monthly detailed market surveys in the purpose of developing the retail experience for the team as well as the customers.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years' retail operations experience including 2 years in visual merchandising management
- Experience in budget planning and control
- Good planning and organizational skills
- The ability to apply sound brand principles to projects and campaigns
- A Qualification in Visual Merchandising or Art & Design is also an advantage.
- Computer literate.
- Good presentation skills, PowerPoint ability is preferred.
- High ability to work under pressure and achieve stretching deadlines.
