Job Description
- Will be responsible for migration activities from on premises platforms (SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, file service) to SharePoint online or to SharePoint 2016.
Migration activates will include :-
- Analyzing the On premises farm
- Understanding the design of the environment and the complexity level of the sites.
- Develop the needed scripts for the migration.
- Perform the migration batches on time and with the agreed quality.
- Stick to the due dates and timelines of the projects.
- Create work instructions and documents for the migration activities.
- Applying operational procedures and ITIL process standards with continuous improvements and performance tuning.
- Managing and handling incidents, problems and outages while establishing needed communications with Microsoft and solutions suppliers to resolve problems in shortest time.
- Provide the support to customers or first line support teams for issues occurred after migration.
Job Requirements
Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge in SharePoint On-Premise administration.
- Experience in SharePoint farms structure/design from backend side.
- Experience in logical architecture of web applications, sites, and related aspects such as permissions, features, and other site administration.
- Experience in PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge in SQL server 2008/2012.
- Experience in O365 and SharePoint Online.
- Experience in SharePoint development is a plus.
Business & process skills:
- Experience in Agile & DevOps
- Business English communication.
- Experience in working in operation teams is a plus.
- Experience in ITIL processes is a plus
