Job Description

  • To provide administrative support to the Business Development
  • Manager and Business Development Unit and to support the
  • team
  • To word-process documents (i.e. letters, correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes)
  • To translate documents Arabic-English (i.e. letters, correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes)
  • To organize and convene meetings as required
  • To take and prepare minutes of meetings as required
  • To maintain Outlook Calendars of the Business Development
  • Team, including making appointments for the Business
  • Development Manager to meet with Sales, Finance,
  • Marketing, Production Teams
  • Data entry

General duties

  • To deal professionally with colleagues and external partners as
  • required
  • To ensure the confidentiality and security of all the United Oil
  • Processing & Packaging documentation and information
  • To attend training/refresher courses and meetings as required by the Chief Operating Officer and Business Development
  • Manager
  • To carry out other appropriate duties that maybe reasonably required to successfully carry out the role

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance
  • Sales background is preferable
  • Very Good English Level
  • Previous experience of working in a customer service or sales environment is a must
  • Previous clerical and administration experience is a must
  • Experience of Microsoft Office applications is a must
  • Experience of working in a front line environment is preferable
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (written and oral)
  • Ability to use electronic information sources
  • Ability to organize and priorities work to meet required deadlines
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with IT packages such as Adobe to create marketing and professional information is preferable
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Confident about dealing with a wide range of individuals
