Job Description

  • Identifying a safe operating procedure that takes into considerations all relevant risks.
  • Developing and implementing health, safety programs, environmental protection, and fire prevention.
  • Ensuring issuance newsletters and instructions related to health, safety, and environmental protection.
  • Following up all the department's commitment to the policies, procedures and existing programs
  • Monitoring the performance of the plant in periodic emergency exercises and set different scenarios and put them in partnership with the sectors concerned.
  • Following up removing of physical, chemical and biological barriers from the plant.
  • Following the environmental performance and its compatibility with the requirements of environmental standards in Egypt.
  • Evaluating the readiness of the firefighting equipment.
  • Following up the purchasing of the personnel safety tools, uniforms, and any other safety equipment and their distribution.
  • Checking the installation of the safety signs & road marks

Ensures effective implementation of quality assurance requirements through:

  • Participating in writing, implementing and improving the department policies, procedures, and work instructions and ensure whether are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner.
  • Ensuring effective implementation and maintain quality standards.
  • Ensuring that everyone in the department is aware of the quality assurance requirements.
  • Following up the auditing results and executing corrective actions.
  • Asking for training if needed to the teamwork

Manages, improves & controls the staff performance through :

  • Developing self and maintaining knowledge in the relevant field at all times.
  • Planning and supervising the staff’s work.
  • Providing coaching and controlling feedback on performance.
  • Ongoing evaluation for staff performance and ensuring clear understanding for areas of weakness and strengths.

Assume other duties assigned by his Direct Manager

  • OSHA Certificate
  • Training courses in business Report Writing.
  • Training courses in Hazard/risk analysis Course.
  • Training courses in Firefighting techniques courses.
  • Training courses in an advanced safety inspection.
  • Training courses in Decision making.

Important:

candidates age is not less than 50 years and max. 53

Previous Experience in the petrochemical sector
